We finished reading Winn-Dixie. I liked the book. I can't wait until our Christmas program tonight. We only had Spanish one time this week. We had Christmas program practice on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I can't wait until Christmas break!

This week we have done a lot of things!
In religion we are learning about God Appears On Mount Sinai. Also we are doing a devostion every morning until Christmas break and we have to guess what God wants for Christmas. Everyday we do a devostion we guess what was in the present for clues and to build our manger set. We have only done math three days because we are doing a Christmas Tea for our reading buddies next friday.In math we have learned about Fractions equal to 1/mixed numbers, equivalent fractions, and finding fractions and mixed numbers on a number line. I am fractioned out! We finished the book Winn-Dixie!
I encurige you to read this book! We have also done english. We've learned about Subject Verb Agreement, and past tense verbs. We have a science test Wednesday and our study guide is due Monday. We have taken our spelling test this week on "au" and "aw". Now you know only half the things we've done this week.

Hi, in class today we are learing about friendly letters.  We are spelling out the word ice cream. We only need 2 more letters. We get them if we get a complement or if we are really quiet.  We are reading Winn- Dixie. It is such a good book. It is about a girl and her dog. Our next book report is a fairy tale. Our book report that was due today I did a wanted poster over a animal. Mostly everybody did a puppet. I read Jess the Lonley Puppy. For my fairy tale book I am doing Dog Magic. It looks like a good book. For the fairy tale book report we have to do  an ornament. My favorite subject is art and reading and  the last one is music. My worst subject is MATH!!!My favorite sport is soccer and horseback riding. Guess who I am.

Hi we are working on thanksgiving stuff and its really fun! We are having a thanksgiving feast.My freinds Jacob and Caleb get to sit with Brandon Heath who is a Christan singer.  I am so excited for the Thanksgiving feast.

Hello, this is Carson. In our class we are working on all sorts of things!
Like in Science we just started chapter 6 it is called  landforms. We are also reading Winn-Dixie it is a really good book. We are on chapter 6 in Winn-Dixie too! We really like being in third grade so far.
In math we are on lesson 43. Our last lesson we did was lesson 42. We learned how to draw fractions! It was very fun and easy. Do you know how to do : two fifths? (Put awnser in comments.) In English we are learning how  to write paragraphs and abbrevations?

In third grade we are learning about mysteries today and learning about spelling erorrs in school.
We are also learning about proper nouns and common nouns and newspaper articles.
Today we went to the bookfair and made a wish list there.
We had Junior Achivment today and did a price total thing today.  Jackson

  This week in Third Grade  we have learned alot, we are learning proofreading marks. We are also learning common and Proper nouns.  Today we went to the Book Fair and made our wish list. We also had Junior Achivement today, and we made our own Newspaper Articles. We had a Math test and a Spelling test. In Science we are learning about Rocks and Minerals. In Social Studies we are learning about election and how one canidate could have more popular votes but less election votes than the other candidate. We are doing a Mystery Unit in reading.

We have been busy this week!!! We had a English test on Thursday and a math test also on Thursday.We got to watch Alivn and The Chipmunks Chipwrecked! Best movie ever! This week we also got to pick what we wanted to do for Daily 5. We also finished the book Tales Of A Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume. We have a test on the book next Wednesday. We have someone in our classroom that watches us because she wants to become a kindergarten teacher. Well that's all for now. We will tell you more next week.

We are doing the book Tales Of The Forth Grade Nothing in reading and we are having a test on it in a couple weeks. We had computers today. Each of us made a slide about are Grandprents and Mrs.Hanson is going to put them into one big slideshow for Grandparents Day. Homework is't very bad yet. We also had reading buddies today. We have Mrs.Winter's class for reading buddies. I like to read to the first graders so they can get better at reading and I just like reading to them. I had some pretty hard words for spelling this week. Charlie

This week we had a field trip to Danial Boon house. It was very cool it felt like we were back in the 1800s!! I had lots of fun. We even got to touch the bed he died in.  This week we also had lots of test. (english, math, and spelling)  Over all we had a good week!! -Elliana

We had a teacher called Miss.Miller that came from Nebraska!  She was really nice.  She left on Friday.Iwas really sad when she went back to Nebraska.  But on Friday we had a surprise party for her.  And everyone made a prayer for her so that it  would form a book.  I think Miss. This week we did our voice theads.  A voice thread is when you have to speak into a microphone and it records you.  I think voice threads are very cool.  We had to do voice threads beacause that was also part of our book reports.  I did Laura Ingalls Wilder for my book report and for my voice thread.  I love school!!

This week we had chapel pratice, and its so fun. The chapel songs are fun, and the actions for the songs are fun too. We are reading the book  Alice in Wonderland, and its a great book and the movie is fun too. It was fun to voice thread. Thursday was our last day of  Junior Achievement. All of the classes were fun, and we learned all about cities and how they were decited to be there. Hope you have a good spring break and Saint Patrick  Day.

We are having spirit wear today.We're having a Peprally.  We play volleyball and basketball with the teachers vs  8th grade students.Who will win. We're also reading Alice in Wonderland.So far it's a great book. We're publishing stories that we wrote. I'm realy excited!!!!!  Maddi

I was excited about the pep rally we had.  Teachers won volleyball and students won basketball.  I like the book reports that we did.  I was Wilbur Wright.  More than 25,000 that came to his funeral.  He was the first person to fly a powered plane.  Luke

This week we did rough drafts in English so they can be published. Today we are doing the share bag. It is Elliana's turn.   She will pick somebody to tally up 20 questions.  She brought in a Laura Ingalls Wilder doll. We raised $669.50 for the For His Glory Orphanage in Hati.  Some parents matched it so then we raised $1,169.50. That was just our class alone!! There are still six other classes raising money!!  All six classes raised $3,028. 58!  We have reading buddies today. Our buddies are from Mrs. Winter's class. My buddy is Saylor. Audrey E. Waite.

This week we did two math tests one was on multiplication the other was just math. We also did our president reports in social studies.We learned about natural disasters in science there was lots of vocab. Jack T.

On Friday we had Volcano Eruption Day. We had the choice if we wanted to make a volcano or not. Alot of people chose to make a volcano. Three people got to show our reading buddies. When the volcanos exploded everbody was so fasinated. Volcano E ruption Day was very fun!

In math, I learned that when you do multiplication by nines, you put the finger down that you multiplied by nine, and the number of fingers on the left, is in the tens place and the number of fingers on the right is in the ones place. I love doing multiplication by nines. Its fun.-Elliana

This week in social studys we were put in groups.  We had to read about famous people.  Then we had to make statues.  But instead of making them were supose to be them! So far it is alot of fun.  I love Social Studys!!!
