This week we had a lot of fun because we had a field trip to Meramec Caverns. There where so many caves . Music was a lot of fun to because we are practicing for our Christmas Program . In P.E we did cup stacking . We are having a lot of fun with out having uniforms because we wore cougar wair on Tuesday and we wore football or college stuff on Friday. This was a really fun week !

In art we are making sculptures of Austrailian animals because for encore night 3rd grade's continent is Austrailia. Spanish is fun! We are learning to count  from 0-200 and we might by the end of the year get to 1000 or 10000. I hope we get to 10000 because that would be really cool!!!! In reading were reading a book called Because of Winn-Dixie and it's REALLY  COOL!!!!!  It's about this girl who  finds a dog and she takes really good care of him and the dog's name is Winn-Dixie!!! 3rd grade had a FANTASTIC week!!!!!!!!!!!!

Third grade is the best! We get 4 choices for lunch, its awesome! I also like the book reports and the new math sheets we get for homework. The tic-tac-toe is cool too, its were we have to do three spelling sheets that has to do with our spelling words.  Zach


Third grade is awesome. My favorite subject is social studies because I like states. Hot lunch at school is awesome.  We get a break and get read to self time. The only thing I don't like is homework. Luke

This week was really fun in Art. We got to make mosaics and finish them. Today we got go to library and pick out really cool books and they were really interesting . Also, today we got to turn in our book reports. It took a long time to do but it was fun. Amelia


Hi, I'm Jake from third grade. This week our class went to gym. In gym we threw Frisbees. After we did that we played a game with the Frisbees. If you caught the Frisbee your team got a point and if you missed it you would be out. Bye.

We went to music on Tuesday and in music  we were tip-toeing around the room and were playing a game. On  Monday we had gym and played fastest tag of the west. On Thursday we went to Spanish and counted to 102 in Spanish.Also On Thursday we went to gym and played football.And on Friday we went to art and were making mosaics.  Tilden 

Friday is always my favorite day. . . we have reading buddies!!!!!!!!! I love reading buddies. Their so fun we have first grade for reading buddies and were in third grade and the first graders are just so cute I can hardly take it. We are Alex, Kris, and Cole. The last 2-3 weeks have been awesome. We had a field trip to the Arch to learn about the westward movement. We also went to Bluebird park to just have fun. We learned about the Oregon Trail in social studies. We learned that Tomas Jefferson bought the Louisiana purchase. We also are worked on our poems. We can not wait for summer!!!

Today in school  we went to music and played the recorder.  We played the notes A and B. Then we went to recess outside and played 4 square. We are at the library. I am reading Elephants. Monday we went to art and weaved. Now I have to go Haley.



 Hi this is Lauren and we had social studies today and we are starting the Oregon Trail.  We had to take a picture without smiling it was hard.We also had library today and I read the book Jack by: Ellen Miles. HI KILEA here. On Wednesday people brought shoes for George the shoe man. This week we also started our Alice projects. We are either doing a photo story or a powerpoint.  I am doing a power point. We basically are doing a summary of the book and different events in the book.  Today we had a half day because it is Good Friday.

Hi this is Lauren.  This week had PE on Tuesday and we had a math test on Thursday.  We have our Alice in Wonderland projects.  Adeline and I are doing photostory.  In science have caterpillars that we are watching them grow and go through their metamorphosis.  We learned about articles.  An article is an, the, and a.  This weekend is Easter and I'm excited for the Easter bunny to come.  Easter is when we celebrate Jesus dying on the cross and on the third day he rose again to save us from our sins!  This is Lauren signing off.

This week we did chapel and sang songs.  We had ACR store.We had a reading test over Alice in Wonderland vocabulary. This week we had a SAT tests till Thursday.  Every Friday we have class Dojo.We have gym every Friday and it is fun because you get to play sports. We have reading buddies every Friday and we are going to read them our books that we made today.  Goodbye. Josh.

This week we started reading the book Alice in Wonderland.  Also 3rd grade did chapel on Wednesday.  I did a prayer and offering.  We are learning about compare and contrast in writing.  In science we are learning about animals and their needs.

Friday is a half day, we get out at 11:30 a.m. In English we are learnng about pronoun-verb contractions.  An example would be We'll go to school tomorrow.  Every Tuesday and Thursday we go to Social Studies and we are writing friendly letters about different people all over the world.

Hi my name is Allie and this week we are writing our stories. We also had Encore Night. Each grade 1st through 5th did it. We got Australia.  We sang songs and showed our art work. We are starting Alice in Wonderland. It looks really cool. We also have Spring Break coming up. We are watching a movie soon.

This week we made baptismal cards to four children.  We took a math test and times test.  Our class is working on a story.  My story is called A Trip With My Family.  We did athlete biographies for the Olympics.  On Tuesday we had the learning fair.  I was Amelia Earhart. We read the book The Boston Molasses Flood of 1919.

 This week in English we learned about subject pronouns. Friday we are taking a  spelling test. Monday we went to art and we were painting animals.   I did a flamingo. We went to library and I got Water Habitats.  We  are doing reading buddies and mine are reading in a red chair.  We went to music class early and practiced our songs for Encore Night with Mrs. Martin's class.  I hope you can come and see it Thursday night.

This week we had a snow day. We are learning about Bessie Coleman.She was born in Atlanta, Texas. We erupted our volcanoes this week. The volcanoes were fun to watch erupt. In social studies we are learning about the winter Olympics.  The five rings represent the five countries that play. By Cole


This week we are learning about the Olympics. They have a ceremony on the first day of the Olympics.
The 5th graders did chapel on Wednesday.  They did skits about encouraging others.  We are learning about Bessie Colman.  She died in a plane crash. We erupted volcanoes.  Laurens was the best. This week was National Lutheran Schools week! A lot of people participated each day and we got to dress up. Thursday was future occupation day and today is cougar spirit day. We're just about to go to the pep rally where the teachers verse the 8th graders in volleyball and basketball.
We just got back and the teachers won volleyball but the 8th graders won in basketball. Bbbbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi my name is Allie this week we are talking about the Titanic.  We spelled out the work MOVIE and so we get to now watch a movie.  We  we are watching a movie it is called Brother Bear. Also we had a science test. I learned about Mercury. I learned that a year in Mercury is almost 88  Earth days.

Hello Kilea here. Can you believe we got three extra days off of school. On 1-17-14 there was a false fire alarm. Today we got out of school early. Also in chapel we watched the geography bee. This is Kilea logging out.
