This week we made baptismal cards to four children.  We took a math test and times test.  Our class is working on a story.  My story is called A Trip With My Family.  We did athlete biographies for the Olympics.  On Tuesday we had the learning fair.  I was Amelia Earhart. We read the book The Boston Molasses Flood of 1919.

 This week in English we learned about subject pronouns. Friday we are taking a  spelling test. Monday we went to art and we were painting animals.   I did a flamingo. We went to library and I got Water Habitats.  We  are doing reading buddies and mine are reading in a red chair.  We went to music class early and practiced our songs for Encore Night with Mrs. Martin's class.  I hope you can come and see it Thursday night.

This week we had a snow day. We are learning about Bessie Coleman.She was born in Atlanta, Texas. We erupted our volcanoes this week. The volcanoes were fun to watch erupt. In social studies we are learning about the winter Olympics.  The five rings represent the five countries that play. By Cole


This week we are learning about the Olympics. They have a ceremony on the first day of the Olympics.
The 5th graders did chapel on Wednesday.  They did skits about encouraging others.  We are learning about Bessie Colman.  She died in a plane crash. We erupted volcanoes.  Laurens was the best. We also shared book reports.  Mine was on dinosaurs.  The Olympics start on Friday, Febuary 7,2014. by Josh

This week was National Lutheran Schools week! A lot of people participated each day and we got to dress up. Thursday was future occupation day and today is cougar spirit day. We're just about to go to the pep rally where the teachers verse the 8th graders in volleyball and basketball.
We just got back and the teachers won volleyball but the 8th graders won in basketball. Bbbbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

This week we are all dressed up!!! We had a fun week and on Monday it was dress as a class day!!We wore neon clothes.We are reading Pompeii this week. It is so cool how Vesuvius erupted. It buried Pompeii.

Hi,this is Ever Grae and we have been reading the Titanic and we did a test over it.We are have been also working on a Philippine dance called Tinikling and it is really fun. We are going to do it in the church !!!!!We are also talking about linking verbs and commas in a series.HAVE A GOOD DAY,BYE.


Hi my name is Allie this week we are talking about the Titanic.  We spelled out the work MOVIE and so we get to now watch a movie.  We  we are watching a movie it is called Brother Bear. Also we had a science test. I learned about Mercury. I learned that a year in Mercury is almost 88  Earth days.


Hi this is Adeline we had our spelling test and our reading test today. It was fun.The reading test was about the Titanic.I learned that the people on the life boats got saved by another ship.  We are watching Brother Bear. BYE

Hello Kilea here. Can you believe we got three extra days off of school. On 1-17-14 there was a false fire alarm. Today we got out of school early. Also in chapel we watched the geography bee. This is Kilea logging out.

Today at school we are going to a pep rallly. We got back from music and we sang some of our Christmas Program songs. We were at the library to get some books. The pep rally is in the gym.
Tuesday we played a fun game in PE. Every week we do art on Monday. We keep practicing for our Christmas Tea. We are performing the Grinch and the Christmas Story for our first grade reading buddies.

I'm Alex, yesterday we had the Christmas store and we bought for our  family. Today we finished Because of Winn-Dixie. It was great.It was about a girl and her dog going to Naomi, Florida and Opal is trying to find friends.

I'm Ever Grae and we went to the Christmas store and it was really fun.We also are reading a book its called Because Of Winn-Dixie. It's a really, really good book and it's about this dog named Winn Dixie and a girl named Indian Opal.  She found Winn Dixie in a grocery store and we are on chapter twenty-four.That's all for today.
