HI KILEA here. On Wednesday people brought shoes for George the shoe man. This week we also started our Alice projects. We are either doing a photo story or a powerpoint.  I am doing a power point. We basically are doing a summary of the book and different events in the book.  Today we had a half day because it is Good Friday.

Hi this is Lauren.  This week had PE on Tuesday and we had a math test on Thursday.  We have our Alice in Wonderland projects.  Adeline and I are doing photostory.  In science have caterpillars that we are watching them grow and go through their metamorphosis.  We learned about articles.  An article is an, the, and a.  This weekend is Easter and I'm excited for the Easter bunny to come.  Easter is when we celebrate Jesus dying on the cross and on the third day he rose again to save us from our sins!  This is Lauren signing off.

This week we did chapel and sang songs.  We had ACR store.We had a reading test over Alice in Wonderland vocabulary. This week we had a SAT tests till Thursday.  Every Friday we have class Dojo.We have gym every Friday and it is fun because you get to play sports. We have reading buddies every Friday and we are going to read them our books that we made today.  Goodbye. Josh.

This week we started reading the book Alice in Wonderland.  Also 3rd grade did chapel on Wednesday.  I did a prayer and offering.  We are learning about compare and contrast in writing.  In science we are learning about animals and their needs.

Friday is a half day, we get out at 11:30 a.m. In English we are learnng about pronoun-verb contractions.  An example would be We'll go to school tomorrow.  Every Tuesday and Thursday we go to Social Studies and we are writing friendly letters about different people all over the world.

Hi my name is Allie and this week we are writing our stories. We also had Encore Night. Each grade 1st through 5th did it. We got Australia.  We sang songs and showed our art work. We are starting Alice in Wonderland. It looks really cool. We also have Spring Break coming up. We are watching a movie soon.

Hi I am Adi and me and my friends are telling scary stories at school. We are working on our stories. Friday we had a out of uniform day.We had a popcorn and stuff animal day in Spanish on Thursday. We had a snow day on Monday.We also had a tornato drill. Bye!

This week we made baptismal cards to four children.  We took a math test and times test.  Our class is working on a story.  My story is called A Trip With My Family.  We did athlete biographies for the Olympics.  On Tuesday we had the learning fair.  I was Amelia Earhart. We read the book The Boston Molasses Flood of 1919.

 This week in English we learned about subject pronouns. Friday we are taking a  spelling test. Monday we went to art and we were painting animals.   I did a flamingo. We went to library and I got Water Habitats.  We  are doing reading buddies and mine are reading in a red chair.  We went to music class early and practiced our songs for Encore Night with Mrs. Martin's class.  I hope you can come and see it Thursday night.

This week we had a snow day. We are learning about Bessie Coleman.She was born in Atlanta, Texas. We erupted our volcanoes this week. The volcanoes were fun to watch erupt. In social studies we are learning about the winter Olympics.  The five rings represent the five countries that play. By Cole


This week we are learning about the Olympics. They have a ceremony on the first day of the Olympics.
The 5th graders did chapel on Wednesday.  They did skits about encouraging others.  We are learning about Bessie Colman.  She died in a plane crash. We erupted volcanoes.  Laurens was the best. We also shared book reports.  Mine was on dinosaurs.  The Olympics start on Friday, Febuary 7,2014. by Josh

This week was National Lutheran Schools week! A lot of people participated each day and we got to dress up. Thursday was future occupation day and today is cougar spirit day. We're just about to go to the pep rally where the teachers verse the 8th graders in volleyball and basketball.
We just got back and the teachers won volleyball but the 8th graders won in basketball. Bbbbbbbbbbbyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

This week we are all dressed up!!! We had a fun week and on Monday it was dress as a class day!!We wore neon clothes.We are reading Pompeii this week. It is so cool how Vesuvius erupted. It buried Pompeii.
